Dataquest is a service for learning data science. It’s build in the form of Codecademy. You can learn data science from scratch using this service. All the tasks should be carried out in Python language. As in Codecademy, there are different gamification elements on the website. For example, award system for completed levels. The author of the service considers that this programming language is easy to understand for a beginner.
A friend of Dataquest founders explains in comments on Product Hunt that the creator has learned data science on his own and decided to share the experience to those who want to plunge into this branch.
The main advantage of the service is that you don’t need to register to complete beginner levels. A user can try them and decide whether to register on the website or not.
Now the product is on the stage of beta-testing. The developer promises to add some new functions in new releases.
